I am not afraid of Love

Today I want to say
I am not afraid of Love.
I am certain of its forgiveness, its generosity,
even as I fear its absence.
I am not afraid.

When I am burdened or broken, I go to it.
It gives me comfort and the wisdom
to hope.
When my heart aches
for too long, I go to it,
and in its sky and dirt and water,
i am calm.
